(self-)Transformation through (self-)excavation → becoming who you can be, by unlocking who you’ve always been
It’s possible
I believe that when we align with our true selves — who we are at our core — our actions, and environment follow suit. Rather than trying to fit ourselves into where we are, we begin to make choices that fit better with who we are.
Together with my clients, we embark on this work via my signature A-lign Approach™. Starting from within and building outward, narrow to broad — also known as a classic A-line.
When we act in alignment with ourselves, we reduce inner stress and feel more joy.
Align yourself. Align your team. Align your world.
The A-lign Approach™ for Individuals
Acquaint
Getting Acquainted with your innate strengths and weaknesses and get clearer on what’s not been working for you. Here we observe you as you are, examine you as you’ve been, and explore who you’d like to be.
Amplify
Self-affirmation. This phase of the process gives you more permission to lean into your superpowers so you can fortify your Best Self. Here it becomes easier to shed what isn’t serving you and turn the volume up on what is.
Adjust
Our impact broadens. Here you begin to recognize the ways your individual dynamics impact your relationships and your world and build bridges between them. You become aware of aspects that were previously unconscious and start to gracefully adjust, applying your new awareness to create more alignment.
How I work
Working with Me
Find your path. Leave a session seeing more possibilities than you did coming in — and feeling more inspired and motivated around how to make them a reality.
Get clarity. I illuminate hidden barriers and find the interconnections and deeper meaning needed to help you get unblocked.
Know yourself and others. The InterStrength™ models provide language for the journey of self-discovery, awareness building, and ultimately understanding yourself and others.
The Models
I work with the InterStrength Models™ which consist of multiple lenses, in our sessions we primarily focus on Interaction Styles™, Essential Motivators™, and through that uncover your Whole Type™. These models were developed by Dr. Linda Berens of InterStrength Institute™.
Interaction Styles™
Understanding our style of moving through the world when we interact. The Interaction Style model is psycho-physiological; it sheds light on how we do what we do and what drives us. Giving insight into our communication and decision-making style and what we aim for in our interactions. Putting language to what we (often unconsciously) seek out of an interaction and awareness of the differences others may prefer.
Tools:
Decision-making styles
Improved communication & influence
Navigating conflict & stress
Clarified conditions for your productivity
The Effects: Understand how to work better with others professionally & personally while identifying and leaning into your strengths more confidently. Terrific for levelling-up leadership
Essential Motivators™
This model targets an innate constant that’s at your core throughout life. It tells us why we do what we do. Previously known as Keirsey’s Temperament theory, variations of this four-quadrant model date back over 2500 years. Capturing our essence, this lens puts language to what we need to feel fulfilled and balanced. Gaining insight into our inherent talents, the ones we tend to take for granted and oftentimes fail to even recognize within ourselves. Identifying new ways to show up in our world that energize us.
Tools:
Clarify & leverage unconscious talents
Navigating conflict & deeper stress
How to motivate yourself & others, authentically
The hidden roles we take on when interacting
The Effects: Permission to own who you are. Reverse-engineer what activates your best so you’ll set yourself up for success. Increased agility at meeting people where they are to create a more optimal and harmonious environment.
Whole Type
Most commonly known by the variation called Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), whole personality Type is portrayed by many different schools of thought all stemming from the initial work of Carl Jung and his cognitive processes. Both Interaction Styles and Essential Motivators overlap with whole Type and break it down into digestible chunks, while also offering deeper insight and more holistic accessibility. Understanding the layers of your cognitive processes allows you to use them more optimally in service of your Best Self.
Tools:
Understand your inherent energizers & drains
Awareness & improvement of natural blindspots
Anticipate & navigate potential conflict
Leverage & compliment others’ strengths
The Effects: Learn how to master yourself. Improved trust in yourself so you’re more self-directed. Released self-doubt and more clarity on how to best shape your career and personal life. You’ll find yourself tapped into your best self more regularly.
